Default Allow "subscribe" to spam folders for all accounts

Not sure if this is do-able or not, but.....

While you can subscribe to the *inbox* folder of email accounts created by the primary account-holder, you cannot subscribe to the *spambox* of an email account (other than the main account's), at least for a Shared user.

Can the option to subscribe to the spamboxes of all email accounts be added?

Right now, the only way to see the spamboxes for other accounts, is to actually login to that email account.

Hope that made sense, and thanks!

I would not expect HG to be able to provide that particular feature since it is a part of cPanel and the way that cPanel handles things. You could add the feature request at cPanel (http://bugzilla.cpanel.net) and they may consider it. Even having the main inboxes available has been a debate in the past.

Thanks, Rick. I figured as much, since I could see no way to do this on my dedi, but thought I'd ask.

That there's been *any* debate about main inboxes for email accounts created by a *single* cPanel account really surprises me.

Now, if I could subscribe to main boxes for other DOMAINS which have their OWN cPanel? Yes, I could see that being an issue.

But not for what are actually "my" email addresses under a single cPanel account, even if it's an Addon domain I host for a friend for free.

When I worked for another hosting company we frequently had folks complain that they didn't think it was right to be able to see other email accounts using their main login. Then, when cPanel changed something that took away the feature we had as many folks complain that they wanted to be able to view the other accounts.

On a dedicated the solution I have found (to be able to clear spam folders, etc.) is to use the configserver Mail Manage script in the root WHM. It allows viewing all accounts and clear folders easily.
