Lightbulb All Servers Status Page, Coming Back?

Hostgator used to have a link that showed the server status and load for all servers: http://www.hostgator.com/s/ That link seems to have dissapeared from the Hostgator site about 2 months ago.

Any possibility that feature, or something similar, could be brought back. I think it would be a good tool to have that many of us would use.

Best regards,
Chris

I don't think it is. You would probably be better off with a company like Alertra checking the uptime on your website for you.

Hi.

Siteuptime.com is good too.

They will monitor one domain free, about 5 bucks a month to monitor 3 servers each 15 minutes and they email and / or message you with outage reports.

Once a month you get a summary emailed to you with all downtime noted.

Their web interface offers easy to read stats as well.

I also use Yahoo widget engine on my desktop all day, there is a ping widget which lets you ping multiple servers/sites at whatever time frame you want.

Cheers

Yes, Siteuptime.com is great. I already use them for my sites. That is not the reason I wanted to have that link back. Seeing all servers at once provided an overall window on how the various loads compared among each other. It also helped us see if there was a specific server issue we were dealing with or multiple servers were affected.

Hope this explains the reasons more.

Chris

OK, yeah, it would give a good overview of the HG system performance and allow us (users) to narrow down server problems, especially if you have more than one account at HG on more than one server. Good idea, but where is that link then?
