Hi, Am looking at the fantastico scripts, the ecommerce ones Cubecart, OS Commerce, Zen Cart. has anyone used these scripts on their site and what would you recommend to use? Ease of use, reliability etc. Help would be most appreciated. Cheers guys

there are already a couple of good threads about this on the forum, unfortunally you haven't been activated yet. If you have done this:

You must wait a bit more.

Activation times seem to be down a bit. Only 4 days wait right now.

I currently have about 12 customers using oscommerce. A great, powerful, and easy to manage ecommerce solution. It does take awhile to setup, but any feature you want can be found at www.oscommerce.com

i found zen cart great as there is a lot allready built in unlike oscommerce where you have to go into the php. Apart from the layout which is easy to modify I found it great and easy to change to almost anything. Also found with work you can have a site running within a week.
Like many that hard part is populating the cart with pictures and details....

If you're even considering osCommerce you should definitely research a bit more into ZenCart.

It's basically osCommerce with some actual decent coding involved.

I'd scratch the rest off of the list and go with ZenCart.

Dave, what is it about Zen Cart that you like better than OS Commerce? I've been testing both of the two and so far I like the OS commerce admin controls better for some reason. I don't want to get trapped into OS Commerce if Zen Cart is much better.

Forget them both and go for X-cart. It is far better and isn't free, so someone's business depends on it working properly.
