Censorship is wrong for everyone...Maybe I don't want to be on the same server as a church group it offends me and it may not be what I believe in. So what about that?

Am I missing something here? Aside from all the philosophical and moral opinions here, the last time I looked, a dedicated IP costs all of $2.00 per month. It's actually included in the Business shared package (not sure if that was package back when this thread was originally started).

Get the dedicated IP. You've got all the privacy of dedicated server, VPS, or host with a "no porn" policy. Sure, it's still there, but people can't associate it with your sites. Sorta like the neighborhoods we all live in, it's there whether you like it or not, you may or may not be able to see it, but it's still there.

$2.00 a month or upgrading your package to one that includes it seems a fair price to me.

And yes, I love beating a dead horse too, especially when there's an easy answer that can oversee all the drama

This thread should of been dead when the Host Gator guys stated the obvious.
