I have a question about the behavior of addon domains. For example:
If I already have an existing site, www.site-one.com, and I want to add www.site-two.com, I assume this can be done as an addon domain. The question I have is, when someone visits site-two, will the web browser address show up as site-one.com/site-two (or something like that), or will every page displayed at site-two show up as site-two.com/page-xx.html in the browser's address bar? |

If the content of the two is exactly the same u should think about just parking the second one.
If on the other hand if you have different content use the addon, as for your specific question: anything in the subdirectory where the addon domain is will display as site-two.com/page-xx.html in the browser address bar (to use your example). Quote:
If you simply park the domain they will show as site-two.com/page-xx.html You could do an add-on rather than a park, and then have your site-two home page redirect to your site-one home page --or if you made all links on your home page explicit links to site-one/xx.html rather than relative links, you could enforce your desire in that way -Jeff_s |
