Addon Domain

I have a subfolder under my main domain that even though it's separate and pretty much stand-alone from my main website there's quite a bit of intertwining with other subfolders. My main domain intertwines with these subfolders as well.

I'm about to do an Addon Domain and the intertwining is my question. My Addon Domain will point to other subfolders within the public_html directory; if someone clicks on a link that takes them to another subfolder will the URL retain the Addon Domain address or will it switch over to my main domain URL?

rootdomain.com
/AddonDomain (subfolder1)
/subfolder2
/subfolder3

Would clicking the subfolder2 link that's on the Addon Domain page stay as AddonDomain.com/subfolder2/ ?

In AddonDomain.com there can not be a link to ANY folders that are above /AddonDomain.

In your case the only way to access /subfolder2 or /subfolder3 would be to use a full URL, i.e. your main domain URL.
