I created a addon domain and it asked me to create a username and password for the domain, so shouldn't I be able to goto mynewdomain.com/cpanel and login with THAT username and password?..well I should then how so? i guess its not going to be the same waay i do with my primary account.

Addon domains do not have a separate cPanel. The username and password specified when you set up the addon are for an FTP account, I believe. In any case, the only way to log into the cPanel is with your main account username and password. You can add email addresses, etc. for the addon domain in your main cPanel.

To have that functionality you need a reseller or dedicated server account.
