Cool Addon domain problem

I have couple of domains hosted, recently I have noticed i have some subdomains that I could not remember that i made them, I figure it out that whatever domain i add, there will be a subdomain as well,
whatever name i type in front of "subdomain/ftp username "
it becomes a ftp user name as well as a subdomain , I tried to delete these sub domains but the system does not allow me, as it is the main name for ftp user id,
I don't want to have them how can I get rid of them, I only want to have sub domains that I myself made.

appreciate your help.

Addon domains always create a matching subdomain. That's the way cPanel works. There are ways to make sure that anybody who comes to the subdomain, though, gets redirected to the addon domain. Search the forum for a few different methods.

OK I did redirect those subdomains to the main domains, but now why those subdomains that I made does not show up, I noticed they showed up like folder,

mysubdomain.mydomain.com
becomes:
mydomain.com/musubdomain

any solution to this?

It's likely that you setup the redirects incorrectly. Did you do them yourself or use cPanel's redirect manager? Can you post them here?
