Addon Domain - what to do??

Hello, I'll try to be brief...

I bought another domain from HG to use with my existing shared hosting account. I added my new domain with the Addon Domain feature. However, typing in the new domain name in the browser does not redirect to the subfolder. I have to type in the entire xxxx.xxxxx.com.

I bought the domain at HG, so isn't already setup or do I need to do something else.

You have to be sure that the nameservers on the new domain are set to the same ones as your main domain.

Like Rick said,

Make sure that the domain is pointed to the same name servers as your other domain. After that it looks like the vhost had already been added to the server so once it gets pointed its ready to go.
