Adding a 2nd Domain on Swamp

Hey everyone. I am the webmaster for my fire company right now.

Well another fire company saw the site and are I guess you could say, "contracting" me to do their website.

Now I'd have to create a domain and everything. How do I go about that?

Do I just put it in the add-on domain section?

How do I do all this?

any and all help is appreciated!

Yes, you would use the addon domain feature for adding the domain to your account. There are several articles in the Knowledgebase (under the Support options on the HG home page.) The article at this link explains the basics.

Ok but wouldn't I have to buy the domain first?

Yep... pick a registrar and buy... many like GoDaddy, others prefer Enom... or there's tons more out there...

Remember that price isn't important for a registrar. Pick the one you feel most comfortable with (and not Registerfly).

Congratulations, it sounds like you do good work...

As for the registrar, I'd be inclined to go with one that features an instant domain lock, (to minimize wait time). Namecheap comes to mind...
