I was thinking since Host Gator has a 24/7 support system, what if the resellers could integrate with it. We create a link to support, and when the reseller isn't online or around to answer the questions, it goes to HostGator support.
This obviously would not cover accoung specific questions, but general questions such as - how do I configure my MX records or some thing like that. |

Thats a really good idea! I would use this but only problem being that hostgator would look at it as "Working for nothing"

Well, the idea of reseller support is that the resellers actually take care of their own clients and the resellers contact HostGator in case of problems that can't be solved by themselves. You can imagine the extra load for HG support if all resellers' clients would start contacting HG directly!
If you want to outsource your support there are companies around making a living of it. Currently HG does not provide this service. Stef. |
