Here's the background: I signed up with my main domain www.firstdomain.com. Now I'm working on my second domain www.seconddomain.com as an add-on. I had my registrar point the second domain to the following dns servers:
ns11.hostgator.com ns12.hostgator.com I've set up the add-on domain. Everything looks good ... EXCEPT that typing in the URL www.seconddomain.com in my browser returns a "Cannot find server" error. Do I have the dns servers wrong? I've waited long enough for this to work (propagation concerns etc). |

Actually, I just noticed that my registrar set the domain servers to ns1.hostgator.com and ns2.hostgator.com rather than ns11... and ns12... I'm getting them changed now (to the ones in my welcome letter).
When this is fixed, will all work properly? Do I have to delete the add-on domain and set it up all over again? Thanks! |

If ns11... and ns12... REALLY ARE the name servers for the second domain, then when your registrar fixes them, and when the DNS info has propagated again, you will be good to go.
