Hello all.
I have a question about add-on domains that I haven't found the answer for yet in these forums. Let's say you have your maindomain.com and your addondomain.com. I assume, from what I've read, that the address bar will show addondomain.com, but my question is, what will the "properties" of a JPG image show? For example, if you right-click an image and choose "properties" will it show "addondomain.com/image.jpg" or "maindomain.com/image.jpg"? By the way, does anyone have an add-on domain I can look at? Thanks in advance. |

Well, mine show "addondomain.com/image.jpg"...

I would think it would depend on where the image is stored. If you have an addon domain, then you would have a directory that is the same name as the addon name.
If you were to store the image outside this "addon domain" directory, then it would probably show up as Maindomain.com/image Unless I am missing something |

Add on and Subdomains work the same way. The subdirectory becomes the root for images and files. So, addondomain.com/image.jpg would be stored in maindomain.com/addon/
If you are using Dreamweaver or other such program, the path would be /public_html/addondirectoryname/ |

OK, thanks for the replies. If anyone would care to direct me to an add-on domain site, so I can kind of check things out, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
