Add-on domain and Google indexing

Hi,

Is it just me, or does anyone else have any trouble getting websites on add-on domains indexed by google and msn?

I have a reseller account and have many sites set up on their own accounts, mine and my customers. These seem to get indexed by google in about 10-14 days following submission no problems.

A site I have put on an addon domain, (as an experiment) of one of 'my' accounts just won't get picked up, except by Yahoo UK.

Is this typical??

Goggle doesn't care if it is an addon or not. As long as you are not using a redirect (part of the addon screen), you will not have a problem. If you are redirecting, then you will likely have a problem because Google doesn't follow redirects.

So this is a NEWBIE question.......... how do you submit your site to google or other search engines???????

I thought there was a tool here on HG but gather that has been removed because it has been superceded by newer technology...... so how does one go about it then?

I'm sure there are plenty of other sites as well, but I use http://www.submitexpress.com/

I use the free submission on the right hand side of the page. Seems to get most of the major engines, and the rest I don't care about.
