SSH account
Hi
i payed for this account elicomp.co.il i can't access to the ssh , btw i asked the seller before i paid if can i get ssh account he said "YES" i need to restore my db so.. i need the ssh account 1 giga db please help me Thanks

HG does not allow SSH access for security reasons. Which tech told you otherwise?

You only can have ssh on a dedicated server.
However, you can contact support, and ask them to do anything that you need done, its possible they will be able to do it. Restoring a mysql db can normally be done through phpmyadmin. Stef.

Would be hard using phpMyAdmin to restore a database that's a GB in size, as they said it is. Considering most of the time the upload limit for PHP is about 2MB. I dunno if you can upload it via FTP and point phpMyAdmin to a location on your server?
Most of my MySQL databases are only about 5 or so MB.
