I checked out HG a few weeks ago, but decided on webhostingbuzz based on a referral from a friend (BIG mistake). It was the worst week of my life, decided to cut my losses. My question, can I set up a reseller account and add a domain later? I don't want the first domain name I add to be the primary account.

You have to have a domain to open an account.

If you don't have any extra domains I would recommend you register one as changing you primary domain later costs you $5 and you have to also remove addon and parked domains which mean more work for you. It's not worth the hassle considering how cheap another domain is.

Thanks for the info. I do have a couple domains, I just wanted to avoid having that domain as my primary account. Does HG assign the username for the account according to domain used at signup or can I choose username and password for the reseller account. A little anal I know, but it makes things easier when you are organized.

You choose username and password during signup, but you can change the password later.

One more question, while browsing the forums I noticed a reference to "green reseller" plan. I don't see this option listed, but from the post I read it sounds about perfect for our needs at this time. Where can I find out more about this, or is it not available any longer?
