Just a heads up for those of you who have reseller accounts on Mercedes.
This morning I awoke to clients complaining that emails they were sending were not going through and received emails were being bounced back with the message "Disc quota exceeded" When I logged into WHM, I noticed that the account disc quotas that I had manually changed had reverted to their default package quota. So if I setup a package with 100 megs of space, but then increased that user manually to 200 megs, their account had reverted back to 100 megs. This is not good, because it is those accounts that are manually changed that are the very ones that will be over quota should this error happen again. Upon notifying HG support about this problem, Christine mentioned that it was a "quota issue on server which was fixed. Now you will not get any such error again." Since we did not receive any emails warning us about this problem, and since HG doesn't ever send out these types of emails, I figured I would post it here so that you guys would double check your account settings. The only "permanent" fix that I can see is to setup different account packages for every variation you create, and completely avoid the disc quota modification and bandwidth modification features. |

I think you should upgrade an account to a bigger package in order the stats to work well, too. I think this is the configuration HG has on all reseller servers in order to avoid overselling. Correct me if I am wrong.

Haven't ever heard of anything on this.
Quota modification is somewhat buggy with cpanel however. I recommend creating packages and putting people on the package for what they need. I hope that helps
