Default Access rest of forum

I signed up for the forum after I purchased my hosting. I sent in a helpdesk ticket but I am still unable to view the rest of the forum. So if a admin sees this can you please unlock the forum for me?

striddy thank you for the link. I have used this link three times now and still no access. Would a mod please help and try to get me access to the forums. Its starting to get very fustrating at this stage.

Delays can happen if your email doesn't mention the domain under which you signed up for hosting, especially if you are using a different email address from either your initial forum signup or your hosting signup.

Gwyneth, thank you for your response, As you correctly pointed out in my first two mail iI did not happen my domain name. But seeing the error of my way I have put it in the third mail to support. I really hope it works.

Also, a general note: this (forum activation) is the kind of thing that can be much slower during weekends, U.S. holidays, and in the middle of the US CST night.

I can't get access to the private section either. I am getting a denial message that "you are not registered" even though I was logged into this forum at the time. I did sign up for the hosting account prior to registering on the forums. I am not using different e-mail addresses. I activated my forum registration by clicking on the link HostGator sent to me in an e-mail, and entered my user name and activation ID. After I did that, the following message appeared on the screen: "Your account has been activated but you are currently in the moderation queue to be added to the forum."

How long do I have to wait in the moderation queue?

I sent an e-mail to sales@hostgator.com since that was the address they said to use if I had problems signing up. Was that the right place to contact?

As far as I can tell everyone on this thread is already setup for access.

One thing to keep in mind is, it's not automated or instant (we have to do this to screen for spammers) and may take up to 24 hours. We appreciate everyone's patience.

Default Trouble accessing forum

First, let me apologize for posting this here.

I just bought the aluminum reseller package. I'm trying to access the forum to find answers for some questions. But I can't see any of the other categories.

The "bill smith" user name is not the name used on my reseller account. Is that the problem? Please let me know what I need to do to access the full forum.

It seems your account was activated on the forum! Our you sure you can't acess the support topics? And also you can use any username you want!!

Your account was already activated, we have to do these manually so its not instant.
