Access prior to DNS assignment

Here is my situation:

I have a client that wants to keep her current site active until the new site is ready to go. I have set up a new account for her site on my reseller account and I know that I can access the folders via FTP. Is there a way to access the control panel for this account so that I can set up the MySQL databases for the backend of her new site. I need to get this done before I transfer the DNS information over.

How would I go about this?

Yes, once the account is set up you will get an email with the IP address for the server which can be used to access the cPanel before the DNS is changed.

Thank you. I knew there was a way...I was forgetting the ~ before the username when trying to access the site.
