Default Access to MySQL by remote developers

I have web developers who have their own servers on which to do their development. During the development process they will need access to the MySQL databases I've created on my account on HG. When they're done, the pages they've created will be FTP'd to my account.

1) what steps do I need to take on HG to give them this access?
2) what steps do my developers need to take on their servers?
3) any advice on making this process work well - I'm looking for voices of experience.

THX

In the MySQL section of your cPanel, at the bottom of the page, you have to add the stations of your developers in the access hosts list. You also have to create an ftp-account for your developers for them to upload the pages to your server when they're done.

They have to provide you with their IP addresses (or at least network), so you can add them to the list. Then they can connect to your database.

Stef.
