Default Access httpd.conf

How do you access this with reseller? FTP with root no go.SSH with root permission denied..........

The reseller server is still a shared server and you cannot access the http.conf file to make changes.

Are you an a reseller server or dedicated server? resellers cant access config files.. you would need a dedicated server to edit it

Yes... the reason trying to figure this out to try and optimize it. having some problems with my.cnf and the guy helping needs some info from httpd.conf

No putty is fine.. can you copy and paste your session in putty and post it here so we can see if you are doing something wrong?

Lol great so now i do pico /usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf
and it loads it... whats the proper way to exit pico from putty?

'ctrl + x'

then press 'y' to save changes or 'n' to not save changes
