In seven months I've only had two very minor problems which were resolved very quickly after I notified support. I've used several hosts over the years, some were big names and some "cheap hosting" companies. I had problems with all of them. MySQL going down, DNS going down etc.
HG does a very good job of maintaining their servers. They deliver on their uptime guarantee and the kind of problems I used to experience just never happen. All of the support options work. The 800 number, live chat, and ticket system. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to talk to a real person. Support tickets are also responded to pretty quickly. If you need to upgrade or order additional IPs, SSL certs etc. the process is quick and trouble-free. The support people are nice and helpful. They actually know what they are talking about and are not just dummies following a script. HG may not have the cheapest reseller plans, but the plans have the best value when you compare them with all the nonsense you will have to put with at a lot of other companies. |
