Internetseer showed a downtime of over 6 hours and there are still connection issues. Here's hoping it's fixed soon.

Internetseer is way off.
gator five is the only server that did not take the kernel upgrade. It will be attempted again tonight, after some changes are made. If this upgrade is not done the server will be hacked.

Trying kernal reboot again tonight. Having problem with g5 saying network card not present which is weird since same network card as other 30+ boxes that were done with same kernal.

Since you know that a particular server (in this case Gator5) will be down at a particular time, isn't it possible to notify (via email) all the admins who have web hosting plans on that particular server, that their server will be offline? I'm not sure how difficult it would be to do this via some type of script, but I believe you know which Gator Server each Web Hosting Plan resides on, and you know the email of the admin/owner. If needed, I can make this request in the "Suggestions" Forum. |
