I have been using HostGator for a little more than a year. HostGator is a high quality host. Although HostGator is still cheap, there are still many more hosts that are cheaper.


The HostGator billing and tickets systems are very easy to use, I like that.

I especially love the fact that HostGator offers 3,500 free templates to their customers, as along with SiteStudio, and a site builder. I've been with three hosts, and HostGator is the only host that has the Plesk sitebuilder.

I like the way that HostGator has demos of the cPanel, site builder, SiteStudio, etc.

The support is super. Some chat assistants aren't helpful, and some are. I like the way that we can get support from HostGator by ticket, phone, email, forum, and chat. There are probably no other possible ways. Not many other hosts have a support forum. The support forum would be better is there were more HostGator employees on it. It takes a while to get a reply on the forums. There was one employee that was exceptional helping me with a problem.

I like the way that we get free promotional credits (like $100 in Google Adwords), plus free SSL, IP, and a toll free number.

I like the way that the reseller program is affordable.

I have never had downtime (that I know of), and the server speed is outstandingly fast.

The bottom line is that HostGator has a lot of features, is a good quality host, and has great support.
