At around 8 Eastern Time gatorasp.hostgator.com had a hard drive failure. Everyone’s sites were up and accept for asp. (as far as we know) webmail was also offline from the failure.
A reboot would have killed the box so we kept it up and running until a few minutes ago when one of the datacenter employees shut it down to put a new hard drive in. They should have it back online shortly, and we will begin the transfer of all sites from the backup drive. We will update this ticket as we have news. About 30 sites are affected.
