2nd Domain Change

Hello, I recently registered a domain & got the business hosting package. Everything is going fine with that domain so far.

Earlier this year I registered a domain thru Godaddy/Google Apps for my blogger. I want to be able to use this domain to my same hosting package. I was informed it would cost me $15 to transfer the domain but if i do it myself I can do it free. Support led me to this tutorial.

I logged into Godaddy and changed the DNS info as the needed, then logged inot my cpanel for HG and added the domain. It still says "not redirected" and I am wondering if I missed a step or if someone can point me in the right direction as I am very close to paying HG to do it unsure if it just hasnt propogated yet or if I messed something up along the way.

I am very new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

How much time has passed since you made the changes at Godaddy ?

Whats your domain name ?

I have some domains at godaddy and after I point them to my server at HG it takes anywhere from an 1 hour to 24 hours to update.. Hope that helps..

It's unfortunate that the Godaddy interface has two tabs with opposite names: the "hosts" tab is where you set nameservers, and the "dns" tab is where you register them (not an issue with shared accounts).

At Godaddy, did you enter the same two HG nameservers you got in your initial hosting welcome email from HG?

Did you let cPanel create the addon directory? (That directory must not have existed before you make the addon, and there can't be a subdomain with that name, either.)

Finally, did you spell the domain right when you created the addon in cPanel?
