I am a bit worried, i was going to register today however, logged onto the site and noticed that the support was offline. Then tried getting though via IM however no luck. Thought that something might just be goin on. This was 5 hours ago and still no luck, with both the online IM and the yahoo IM i am not able to get though to either.

Slightly worried?!?!?!?!

There is also phone support, and support via these forums.

We do provide 24/7 support, so no need to worry about that.

Re: Reseller support

Would resellers be the first point of contact for tech support issues or would this be something that Host Gator handles?

Hope you don't mind stepping in, but you handle tech support issues from your clients, and then you can turn to Host Gator.

I don't *think* HG outsources support? I could be wrong.

I'm pretty sure I would be able to handle probably most of the issues. I'm just trying to figure out how I would be handling support issues 24/7. Since my hosting is a one-man job, I need some type of sleep.

I would say that people could use the ticket system, unless it is an emergency let them know they probably will not get a response for 24 to 48 hours, and that programing is not supported.
