2 sites in one?

ok heres the deal, I have livingtreasures.us with hostgator, (not being used right now) I want a site that is livingtreasures.biz, I already have the domain name.

Heres my question, is there any way of having 2 sites with one account? I asked I think it was chad yesterday about it in chat and he told me some things but I couldn't figure it out. Should I change the name server to the ones I was given for livingtreasures.us? (already did, wanted to get away from hostway.com) I tried using the addon domain (didn't really know what I was doing) then tried up loading files, but where do I up load them?

I've done web sites in the past, but its been a long long time ago and well to be honest I have no idea what I'm doing.

Hey, I remember talking to you yesterday. For reference, look at our knowledgebase: www.hostgator.com/help > click > addon domains

Basically in cPanel when you go to addon domains, you'll see 3 fields and some redirect info. forget about the redirects. In the first field, put your new domain that you would like to addon: livingtreasures.biz

The second field with user/sub/ftp will just be say: livingtreasuresbiz

The third field will be your password.

After you create this upload all the files that you want to display when you load livingtreasures.biz to public_html/livingtreasuresbiz folder.

Basically what it does is the livingtreasures.biz (addon domain) will pull files out of the folder you create for the second field.

thanks, ok another dumb question where do I upload these files, do I go to livingtreasurs.biz/cpanel or livingtreasures.us/cpanel to upload my files?, then where? fttp?

Since livingtreasures.us is your main account you will update using this url. use livingtreasures.us/cpanel and login to use the file manager. Or if you want to use ftp.livingtreasures.us > public_html > livingtreasuresbiz is where you will upload to.

I'm doing what you told me now, but it seems like its taking forever to up load the files
