I joined HG back on November 28 because I wanted to run away from Fasthosts. I had read Webhostingtalk posts about HG and live chatted with staff regarding pre sales questions. Within days I registered a new account.

I am truly impressed by the service. Somethin' else, as Eddie Cochran would've said.

With FH, it took me several attempts to generate a phpBB backup. With HG it works straight up and fast. FH server speed was rather clunky, especially with php. HG servers are fast.

Uptime is great. I had 2 downtimes that lasted 10 seconds. With FH, support e-mails used to bounce back like "everything works fine for us".

I was new to cPanel. I had a question regarding mySQL and how to connect using a software. HG's reply has been clear.

I don't know how the upgrade will go. I just hope Gator can keep up with their promised bandwith...
