The Bad:
Support and only support. This isnt to say that the support is bad in general but the current system is. I think the problem lays with the fact that if you submit a ticket it is looked at by one person and when you reply it is looked at by someone else and this goes on and on with some people not actually reading the whole ticket and asking you the same questions which you had already answered.

Overall i have to say that my experience with HG is a positive one. I would say that 50% of my support tickets or chats have been dealt with in what i consider to be satisfactory and im not too sure whether thats a good or a bad thing. However i think this is to be expected with a company as large as HG. I must say though that it means a great deal when the company owner contacts you via PM and asks to speak with you on MSN to resolve your issues. This frankly is incredible and something i feel certainly unique to HG because it means that instead of the owner sitting behind his employee's playing Xbox allday, he is instead reading the forums and actually cares about his customers. This is certainly something to cherish.

Q. Would i recommend HG and will i be staying with them?

A. Absolutely! While there is certainly some room for improvements HG are better than most hosts. I say this with experience of using HostNine and ResellerZoom, both of which i wouldn't touch with yours

So i would definately recommend HG if you are looking for fair priced hosting on very promising servers with the added security of their servers running php as cgi.
